Experience

On leaving school I was sent to work for a friend of the family who owned Alfa Services in Birmingham.

I was involved in mechanical and body repairs but soon found my main interest was mechanical.

After some years I was offered a job at a Citroen franchise with the offer of factory training and decided some formal training would be a benefit.

I was with Citroen for about 10 years and gained a lot of experience on things ranging from the 2CV6 to the Maserati engined SM.

I qualified as an M.O.T. tester and quality controller, ending my time there as Service Manager. With a strong urge to get my hands dirty again I decided to strike out on my own.
